Sleep studies

Also known as polysomnography (PSG), are a series of tests used to diagnose and monitor sleep disorders. These test record various physiological activities while the patient sleeps. By using sleep studies we can gain a deeper understanding of sleep patterns and disorders, and develop effective treatment plans to improve sleep quality and overall health.

Duplex Doppler Carotid Artery

Non-invasive vascular test that uses a combination of Doppler-ultrasound to evaluate the blood flow and structure of the carotid arteries and the artery wall thickness. This information helps the healthcare provider to diagnose and manage carotid artery disease, and reduce the risk of stroke and cardiovascular complications.

Echocardiography

Also known as a Echo, is a non-invasive medical test that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of the heart and blood vessels.

ECG and Stress ECG

Electrocardiogram is a non-invasive test that measures the electrical activity of the heart. It records the heart's rhythm and pattern, allowing healthcare providers to diagnose and monitor various heart conditions, such as arrhythmias, heart attacks, and cardiac. An stress ECG is a test that measures the heart's electrical activity during physical exercise, typically on a treadmill or stationary bike. It assesses the heart's function under stress, allowing healthcare providers to diagnose and monitor conditions such as coronary artery disease, heart failure, and arrhythmias.

Lung function testing

Also known as pulmonary function testing (PFT), is a series of tests used to assess the functioning of the lungs and diagnose respiratory diseases. These tests measure how well the lungs take in and release air, and how well they tranfer oxygen into the bloodstream. Measuring the lung volumes, the flow speed, diffusing capacity and amount of trapped air in the lungs.

Intensive Care (ICU)

Highly personalized and intensive care provided to patients with life-threatening or severe illnesses and injuries. Patients are closely monitored by a multi-disciplinary healthcare team of highly trained professionals, including intensivists, physicians, nurses and therapists.

Inpatient Management

Refers to the care and treatment of patients who are admitted to hospital for a few days or a period of time depending on the underlined condition and treatment plan. The primary goal of inpatient hospital management is to provide patients with comprehensive, around-the-clock care and treatment for their medical condition, with the aim of stabilizing their health, managing their symptoms, and facilitating their recovery.

Outpatient Consultations

Personal appointment with the Specialist physician in the office without been admitted to hospital. The primary purpose of an outpatient consultation is to get a full history, general examination, diagnose and manage a patient’s medical condition, provide guidance on treatment options as well as need for futher special investigations, and offer ongoing care and support.
